Our Story

Pelle Italia s.r.l. is located in Arzignano, a small town which over the last 60 years has not only become Italy’s main leather-producing centre, but also a leader on the world scene. It was also ascertained that the first leather production in this district dates back at least seven centuries ago. Today Arzignano is globally considered to be the world capital in the industry for quality, style, technology and respect for the environment, accounting for 16% of world leather production and 65% of European leather production. 2022 was also an important year for the city as it received recognition as the “Capital of Leather”.
In 1993, after 10 years of experience working for several companies in the district, I decided to create an independent company, Pelle Italia s.r.l..
Since then our work has progressed successfully as testified by our long-standing relationship with so many of our customers. Today Pelle Italia is a strong reality in the market, working together with its trusted partners to continuously push ahead to set new boundaries and fulfill the most skilled craftsmen’s needs.
